Crockpot Easter Dinners

Our favorite Easter Sunday is upon us once again, and I know you’re probably all scrambling around trying to figure out what to make for Easter.

Well, worry no more! I’ve got you covered!

Whether it’s pork chops or ham that you love for Easter, this collection is a delicious list of my most popular, favorite, and healthy crockpot Easter dinner ideas you’ll absolutely love to try.

Let’s get into it…

This Brown Sugar Crockpot Ham Basically Glazes Itself While You Nap

If you haven’t tried doing your Easter ham in the crockpot yet, you’re working way too hard.

This one from Holly is the kind of recipe that makes you look like you spent all morning in the kitchen when you really just… didn’t.

The glaze stuff is brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apricot preserves with a little bit of rosemary if you’re feeling fancy.

You score the top of your spiral ham, brush the glaze between all those layers, and let the slow cooker do its thing for about 4 to 5 hours on low.

That’s it.

The result is this sticky, caramelized, sweet-savory ham thats honestly hard to stop picking at before dinner even starts.

One reviewer named Karen said she made it for Christmas and got so many compliments it’s becoming a permanent part of their holiday buffet.

And I get it because once you taste that glaze you’re not going back to the packet that comes in the ham packaging.

Feeds about 16 people so its perfect for when the whole family shows up on Easter and everyone brings a cousin you didn’t know existed.

Pro tip: go for the bigger ham even if it seems like too much, because the leftovers make the best sandwiches for days after.

Apple Cider Glazed Spiral Ham That’ll End the “Turkey or Ham” Debate Forever

You ever ask your family if they want turkey or ham for the holiday and everyone just says ham without even thinking about it?

Same energy here.

This spiral ham gets wrapped in foil (or a roasting bag if you’re smart about it) and goes into a 275 degree oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, low and slow so it stays juicy.

But the real star is the apple cider glaze you make while it rests.

Its literally just spiced apple cider, brown sugar, and cornstarch whisked together and simmered til it thickens up.

Pour it over the ham and the whole thing just… transforms.

Sweet, a little tangy, kinda cozy in a way that screams spring holiday dinner.

The recipe is from Fehr over at The Recipe Rebel and she keeps it super simple which I appreciate because Easter morning is chaotic enough without a complicated glaze recipe.

Make sure you use actual spiced apple cider though, not apple juice, because the flavor difference is honestly night and day.

Serves around 20 so yeah this ones built for a crowd.

Three Ingredient Crock Pot Ham That People Literally Won’t Stop Talking About

Five minutes of prep.

I need you to really sit with that for a second.

You take a spiral cut ham, rub it down with brown sugar, pour maple syrup and pineapple juice over the top, and toss it in the crockpot for 3 to 4 hours on low.

Thats the whole recipe.

And before you think “thats too simple to be good” — one reviewer Rebecca brought this to a church potluck and people went nuts over it.

She actually swapped in chopped canned pineapple instead of just the juice which honestly sounds like a genius move.

Another guy Richard said he’s been making it for years and hasn’t changed a single thing because why mess with something thats already a hit right?

The maple syrup and pineapple combo gives it this tropical sweetness that works so well against the salty ham.

After its done cooking you take the liquid from the bottom, simmer it in a pan for a few minutes, and boom — homemade glaze that looks way more impressive than the effort you put in.

This is the one you make when you wanna spend Easter actually hanging out with your family instead of being stuck in the kitchen all day.

Honey Dijon Crockpot Spiral Ham You’ll Wanna Baste Every Hour (Trust Me)

So here’s the thing about this recipe — it asks you to baste every hour and normally I’d be like “yeah thats not happening” but with this glaze you actually want to.

Brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider, ground cloves, and black pepper all mixed together and poured over a spiral cut ham.

The sweet and savory thing going on here is kinda wild.

Every time you open that crockpot lid to baste, the smell that hits you is borderline unfair to everyone waiting for dinner.

It cooks on low for about 5 hours which gives you plenty of time to get your side dishes together, set the table, maybe even change out of your cooking clothes before guests arrive.

Sarah Olson’s recipe serves 12 which is that sweet spot where you have enough for everyone plus leftovers but your not drowning in ham for a week.

Throw some fresh rosemary or thyme on top when you plate it and suddenly your Easter dinner looks like something out of a magazine.

Nobody needs to know it took you 10 minutes to prep.

Set It and Forget It Easter Ham with Sticky Orange Glaze

Can we talk about orange glaze on ham for a minute because I feel like not enough people are doing this.

Orange marmalade, Dijon mustard, fresh OJ, and orange zest all whisked together and poured over a brown sugar rubbed spiral ham studded with whole cloves.

It sounds fancy but its genuinely one of the easiest crockpot easter dinners you’ll ever make.

You set it on low, baste it every hour or so, and in about 4 to 5 hours you’ve got this gorgeous sticky ham that tastes like spring on a plate.

Heidi brought this one to Easter dinner and said there were zero leftovers which honestly tells you everything.

The citrus cuts through the richness of the ham in a way that brown sugar glazes just dont, and the whole cloves add this warm spice that kinda sneaks up on you.

Chungah’s recipe is one of those “why didn’t I think of this sooner” situations.

If you’ve been making the same brown sugar ham every Easter since 2015 this is your sign to switch it up.

Your crockpot does all the heavy lifting so you can actually enjoy the holiday instead of hovering over the oven.

Peach Thyme Glazed Ham That Looks Like You Hired a Private Chef

Okay this one might be my favorite on the whole list and I dont say that lightly.

Peach preserves and fresh thyme together on a ham sounds like something you’d order at a restaurant not pull out of your own slow cooker on Easter Sunday.

Brunmeier makes the glaze by simmering butter with fresh thyme first until it gets all golden and fragrant, then stirs in the peach preserves, brown sugar, Dijon, apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of ground cloves.

The extra step of broiling the ham for a few minutes at the end is lowkey genius because it gives you those crispy caramelized edges that slow cooker hams sometimes miss.

You save a quarter of the glaze to brush on fresh right after broiling so the flavor hits you in layers.

One commenter Ben said it perfectly — making it in the slow cooker saves so much time and he loves it.

That glaze with the little specks of peach throughout is honestly gorgeous and its the kind of detail guests notice.

Serves 10 to 16 depending on how big your ham is so its great whether your doing a small family Easter or hosting the whole neighborhood.

If your tired of the same old glazes this is the one that’ll make people ask you for the recipe before they even finish their plate.
